Hello Diane,

Boy does time fly when you are having fun! I have been going to email you for weeks now to tell how wonderful things are going with are beautiful little girl!! She is so perfect!!
She has brought so much life, love and fun to our household…She made herself at home right away and we have never had any problems since bringing her home….She is most diffidently spoiled.
We have enrolled her in trailing class at PetSmart, which she just loves. She gets along so well with the other puppies and does well with her lessons. She is so smart and at times too smart for her own good..She’s growing like a weed! The other day at the vets she weighed 10 lbs. The vet suggested that she was going to be a “petite” cocker spaniel….Which is just fine with us…She just as precious as she can be…..

My family is so grateful to you and your family for having the love and dedication to help bless other families with such wonderful pets. Shelby Rose has been loved by everyone she comes in contact
with. We believe strongly that she well be a wonderful therapy dog….We will keep you posted….

Please see the attached photos to see how she has grow….

We thank you from the bottom of hearts for how you have blessed this family with such a wonderful little girl!!

God Bless You and Yours,

Dear Diane,

I just wanted to drop you a note with the sincerest THANK YOU for my little Ben. I’m so glad he was the pup you held onto–it’s like he was meant to be with us. We got him from you the sunday before thanksgiving, and he was comfortable here by the holiday. He’s 8 months old now, 70lbs and just the sweetest, smartest boy. In 2 weeks he was housebroken, he likes sleeping in his crate and loves his mama. We’re still working on walking on leash (way too cold and snowy for me to walk outdoors) and with my husband, I don’t think I’ll ever get Ben to stop begging for food, but we’re getting there. Losing our golden was really hard and with my energy level and the holidays coming, Ben was the perfect fit. Everyone who meets him loves him, and I have already mentioned you and passed your business card to a neighbor.

I just wanted to update you on our little Ben’s progress because I know how much you care that your pups are thriving and are living the good life. Oh, and Ben says “Go Steelers!”

Sincerely,

.

Diane We bought Max from you back in 1997 he was a large yellow lab. We originally contacted you because my husband’s boss adopted a yellow lab from you the year prior. Our son has autism and never wanted to leave his room. We bought Max home as a puppy and he was immediately drawn to our son. The transformation and Kenny was astounding. The puppy did what the doctors were not able to do. Kenny would go out the back yard and play with Max for hours. I just wanted to let you know what this puppy for our family. We were truly blessed by having this animal in our home. Thank you so much

Diane,

Hi there, hope all is well with you and your family. Shelby and her family all are doing well. The reason we are emailing you is to see if you had anymore puppies or was expecting any. We are wanting to add another little girl to our home. We are looking for a light white, tan or spotted one this time. Sometimes their called a “Lemon” color.

Please let us know if you can help us again in our search…

Thanks again for Miss Shelby Rose!! I have attached a pix of her, just so you can see how sweet and beautiful lady she grew up to be..

Take care,

Good afternoon Diane,

Yes you may use any pictures and/or letter that we send you…We love sharing her with everyone! She’s all over Facebook!! A lot of my friends just love hearing about her and her daily activities!
She loves having her picture took. The kids joke that we take more photos of her than we ever did them when they were little….Not! But we do have a lot of her……Well she’s just so darn cute you can’t help but snap one here and there…lol
Just in the last few days she has learned that she can jump onto the couch and chairs (up until now she was too small) and she is so proud of herself when she does…..She keeps this family on their toes..

Oh thats so sweet that you kept her sister….Would love to see a picture sometime…
My husband and I have on several occasions wished that we could of adopted her too….We are hoping some time in the future to be able to bless Shelby with a sister or brother…we’ll see!!

Well it’s time to get ready for class!!! Will keep you posted….We are very proud parents!! LOL

Take care!!!
(Remembering your husband in our prayers)

Hi Diane,
I just wanted to let you know that the puppy I got off of you in April in just a darling. We have now moved from PA to TX in with my fiance. I was worried what it would do to him, so if it didn’t work we were going back home, but he loves it. He traveled great the whole 23 hours here. He slept the whole way except for potty breaks and our one overnight stop. I have to tell you people say to me all the time how beautiful and well mannered he is and want to know where I got him. He has never given me one problem, he was potty trained completely at about 11 weeks. He loves to be held ever since day one. Now hes about 38lbs and I still carry him around and hold him. I wanted to ask you a question are the parents of his do they have really soft hair. His hair is so soft it doesn’t even feel like dog hair. My vet couldn’t believe how soft he is. EVERYONE that pets him says how soft he is. I wanted to let you know how he was doing and attach some pictures. Again hes the greatest, I couldn’t be happier.

Thanks again,
Carrie

Just wanted to let you know how he was doing. He has a huge personality and loves all the dogs in my family. I couldn’t have picked a better pup. Thanks again.

Good afternoon,

A few weeks ago we laid to rest our beautiful cocker spaniel named Mickey. We bought this sweet dog from you in July of 2003. His parents are Sir Domino Dice and Sir Jiggers Bewitched Nala. We found you by searching the web because we have a special needs daughter. I just wanted to say thank you for breeding such a loving, special and beautiful puppy. It is because of him she took her first steps at three years old and he continued to protect her; he was a natural at this.

We truly miss him but we have so many wonderful memories. I just wanted to say thank you!

Hi Diane, this is Zane and Ashley . We purchased a lab from you about 6 months ago when he was about 12 weeks old. We decided to name him Titan and we wanted to let you know just what an amazing dog he is and also how sweet he is. He is so loving and is a huge fan of cuddling. He definitely doesn’t like to let you out of his sight, he thinks he always has to be right in the middle of things. We are so glad that we purchased him and couldn’t be happier. Our husky Sienna also loves him and he is a great addition to our family. Thank you very much.

Sincerely,
Zane and Ashley

Diane,
Just wanted to say Merry Christmas and once again tell you how much we love Emma. She has been such a great joy in our lives!  I am so happy I took the time and research to find her with you. She came into our lives at a time when we needed her love just as much as she needed ours. Growing with her has been amazing for my kids as well as me. Thank you for your love and care in breeding.
(Emma was from the 07/07/07 litter, and I surprised my 2 children by bringing them to your farm to pick her up.)

Have a blessed Christmas!!

Diane,
As of this Christmas, 2009, it has been 4 years since I got my puppy Madison from you. She is currently laying on my feet looking up at me with a tenis ball in her mouth wanting to play, but not wanting to leave my side. I honestly could not be happier with her. She has been a constant joy and delight to come home to. Madison is a lot like Nana (the St. Bernard from Peter Pan) to my 15 month old nephew. If he falls down or crys for any reason, Madison rushes to make sure he’s ok. It’s so sweet to watch how much she loves him! My vet just loves Madison! At her last check up he told me that when he sees a cocker he usually gets nervous, but when he opens the door and sees Madison staring back at him, he becomes very relaxed and knows it will be a smooth visit. She has learned many tricks like jumping through a hoop and fetching the newspaper. I can’t thank you enough for being a responsible breeder that really cares about the dogs you help bring into the world. You should feel really good about this because of all the lives you have touched through your work. Reading the testimonies page on your site is proof enough. I always say that I will never get a cocker spaniel from anywhere else. God bless you, your family, and dogs!

I have included some pictures… one from the day I picked her out, one from when I first got her, and a few as shes grown

Dear Diane,

Over the years, I have wanted to contact you and tell you about the chocolate lab puppy I bought from you. I have always said, I would write to you tomorrow but I never seemed to get around to it. So I am contacting you now, 9 years later.

I wanted to tell you what a wonderful dog Mia is. She has been my best friend in the 9 years that I have had her. She is one of the calmest labs I have ever met, until it comes to food or going for a walk, and everyone who meets her loves her at once. Since she has come into my family, we have added cats to our little family and she doesn’t blink and eye at them. We have also added 3 children to our family and she is great with them.

I am writing to you to thank you for bringing my first baby to me. I can’t believe it has been 9 years since I brought her home. I am beginning to see her age. She is  graying around the face.

We have been discussing welcoming another lab into our home and each time I do, I think of you and your labs. I am hoping that when the time comes and we decide to open our home to a new lab that we can contact you and meet some of your puppies. I know that there will never be another Mia but we would love to find another lab with a temperament similar to Mia’s. I am hoping to find another best friend but not just for me this time but for my children/family.

I thank you for the few moments that I have taken of your day to tell you how glad I am that 9 years ago I found you and that you are still breeding these beautiful animals so that my family will be able to welcome another lab puppy into our home.

Thank you

April

P.S. I will send you some pictures of Mia and information on her parents. When I came to pick her up you told me that she was as laid back as her mom and I think that you were right.

I purchased a Yellow Lab Female nearly two years ago from you and have been getting nothing but compliments about her. She loves to hunt and has been to North Dakota two years in a row. She retrieved her first duck at 9mo. We love her so much and have been recommending your dogs to all our friends I have attached some pictures of our photogenic baby girl, Buffy.

Annie loves exploring the snow, ice, dead and dormant plants, and earth. We don’t think that she had been outside before we brought her home on Friday. I tried to pose her against her red blanket to show her coloring, but she played with the blanket and was usually on the white kitchen floor.
We put up a pet gate between the kitchen and dining room. It took her about 5 seconds to slip through the holes slots in the gate and find us in the dining room. We have an area rug hanging over the gate now to deter her escape until her head gets too big to go through the slots.
Annie went to puppy kindergarten (first of five sessions) to enjoy socializing with other puppies and so her parents can be trained. She responded to her name, reached her nose to our fingers, and her parents learned how to get her to sit, and to reward her for each action. The other two puppies were a Rhodesian ridgeback and a golden retriever, both about six times as large as Annie. After watching them playing–rough-housing–with each other, Annie was bold enough to approach the Rhodesian ridgeback–“Brick.” Brick’s two child owners, Elizabeth and Emily, both petted Annie and she was rewarded for letting them do so. The kindergarten is to socialize the puppy with other puppies and humans of various shapes and sizes.
Betty and Patty: Annie is named for mom, of course.
Love to all;
Barb

HI Diane,

Here’s a very recent photo of Emmy. She came through her big girl surgery just fine. She is 50 lbs of love and wiggleness. She likes to dig, so we are trying to break that behavior. She has a very sweet disposition and is eager to please. She loves to chase the bunnies in the yard and tries to get the chipmunks.

Hope all is well with you. We thank you again for providing us with a very wonderful puppy, soon to be a young lady!!

Hi Diane: Annie is doing well. At her second vet visit this week, she weighed 8.4 lbs., up from 6.3 at the first visit which was on the Monday after the Friday (Feb. 4) that we brought her home from your house.
Contrary to your predictions, she loves strangers and throws herself at their feet, offering up her tummy to rub! I will send you a few other emails with photos that I sent to relatives.
Thank you for your kindness.

We were so happy to be able to bring him home to our family that day and we LOVE him more every day. He is HEALTHY and has love love love. We have a big fenced in yard at our new home in Pittsburgh and he gets plenty of excercise and has lots of fun. We even have a dog park one mile away 🙂

Have a wonderful summer. Hope you enjoy seeing the photos. Linda

Merry Christmas
Just wanted to give you a quick positive update on Cotton. She’s growing up into a fine young lady :).

She’s finally slimmed down a bit and is about 75 pounds, phew! Can I tell you how hard that’s been? We discovered that she had been sneaking extra snacks into the backyard – pecans!!! The bugger was finding the nuts on the ground and crunching them down, explaining a lot of extra calories, ha ha. We have to be vigilant about cleaning upthe nuts now, and her weight is once again at a healthy level.

Her new routine includes walk to the bus stop to pick up my kindergartener. She hears the buses in the neighborhood and gets so excited. She walks down with us to the bus stop and waits patiently for Aiden. All the kids on the bus look forward to seeing her.

She still goes to doggy day care (The Tail Waggin Ranch) 3 or 4 days a month. She loves it there and gets to play and socialize with other dogs her size. There aren’t any dog parks around here and even the beach is technically under leash laws, so I am glad we found an opportunity for her to socialize with other dogs.

So she’s loving life, receiving tons of affection from our boys, and continues to be a huge part of our family. I’ve attached a picture from her last night…

Best wishes to you for 2011!

Hi Diane,

I just wanted to give you an update on Bentley and Sophie that we adopted in December. They are doing very well and love their new home. They get a lot of attention and love. Also they are in training and the trainer said that they were some of the best puppies she has ever seen and asked for your name and phone number to pass along as a good breeder if anyone is looking. I have attached a couple of pictures, the first is at 2 months and the 2nd is now at 6 months.

Thank you,

I bought a cocker spaniel from you on March 27, 2011. I am from Indiana. We had a long trip 362 miles, she was a very good rider. Her name is Eloise. She is now 6 months old. She is very loveable and personality is unbelievable. I would not trade for everything. She knows how to sit,lay down and I every trained her how to shake. She is very loveable She is a fast learner. She is spoiled she has more toys then my nephew does. I would come to you again for another cocker spaniel. You are a very good breeder. Thank-you for my cocker spaniel.

Dear Diane,

I wanted to update you on Baron, a black male Labrador retriever (I purchased him on February 15, 2007). I can not believe that he will be having his 3rd birthday his year. I could not be anymore happy with my purchase of him. I have received so MANY compliments on his disposition and what a beautiful lab he is. My vet who has had labs his whole life and graduated from The Ohio State Vet school said that he was one of the best looking labs that he has come across. I have trained Baron myself ever since he was a puppy and continue to reinforce his training on a daily basis. His favorite thing to do is upland bird hunting. His drive and his nose match that with some of the regionally ranked dogs. If someone is looking for a hunting/companion dog I would HIGHLY recommend you. I can not tell you how many birds he has flushed up and retrieved for me even in thick brush. He always wants to work and you can tell how proud he is when he is working. Always waging his tail and always waiting for the next retrieve. A lot of my friends who are serious hunters always want me to come along or take Baron for the day when they do go bird hunting because they know he will produce consistent results. That is all for now. Please feel free to reference me for any of your future buyers. I have read many articles and books on the Labrador retriever. Take care.

Sincerely,

Michael

Diane,

I first must tell you that I absolutely loved your webpage. My name is Justin . I live in Akron, Ohio. I have heard amazing things about your dogs, and have finally seen them first hand. I am an underwriter for Allstate. I used to work the district in the Scio area. I heard from more than one Allstate agent( I believe that you were highly referred by the ladies at Allstate insurance in town, amongst others) that you would be the lady to speak to about dogs. I just recently purchased a home with my fiance. We happened to move next door to Ken and Cyndi. They have a beautiful yellow lab named Murphy. I don’t know if you remember Murphy or not. She is about 6-7 years old, and is the most amazing lab I have ever seen. Ken and Cyndi told me hands down, you are the one to go to, and after seeing the results with Murphy, the calmest happiest friendliest dog ever (Kayla has nicknamed her the Dog Mayor because all dogs, kids and parents for 6 blocks know Murphy) I am convinced that I would love to get a female yellow lab for Kayla. I was wondering if you had some puppies ready around Christmas, or even a little after would be fine? Any additional information you could give me to help me with the process would be greatly appreciated. I would like to keep this as a Christmas present, but as I said, I can always wrap dog toys, and let her pick the puppy out later. Or maybe a frame with a picture of Murphy haha.

Diane,
I just wanted to send you a quick note regarding the yellow Lab puppy we purchased from you in May 2008. Grace has quickly become a very important and special part of our family. Our two sons (Alex 11 and Jack 8) are absolutely in love with her – she has the perfect combination of a very gentle disposition and high energy. She takes 3-4 walks daily with various members of our family, and is happy all the time. Grace is our first dog ever, so we are so thrilled and thankful that she has been so exceptional. We thank you for breeding such beautiful and well-mannered Labs. I will send you some pictures when I have a chance, and if you have anyone that is considering your dogs, feel free to have them call me and I’d be happy to tell them about our great experience – she has been wonderful! She was one of the pups that you initially sent to Florida for Marley, but she was sent back due to a production delay.

I’m not sure if you remember me or not, but five years ago this summer I contacted you for a large, black male puppy. I picked Zeke out at age 7 weeks (picture attached), and my daughter and aunt picked him up for me the following week (so that I could surprise my husband on his 50th birthday, in front of all his students – he’s an elementary principal in City School).

Anyway, Zeke is doing well, but he’s lonely. Just a few weeks ago we had to say goodbye to our beloved 12 year old Jake, when he heart failed rather quickly. Since John will be off for six weeks in the summer, I can think of nothing better to keep him busy than housebreaking a pup. And, before I looked any further, I wondered what pups you might be expecting in the coming months.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Debby

Dear Diane

Good morning,

It was last year today when we picked our little Cotton up from the airport, and I just wanted to give you a little update. She’s still the biggest lover, and quite lazy — which is a good thing, lol. She is amazing around my two little boys, I think she thinks they are her pups!

She’s currently a little chunky — hence the lazy factor, she weighed in at 75 pounds last month. It would help if the boys didn’t sneak her extra meals throughout the day. She loves the ocean with passion, even in the dead of winter. If I didn’t though the ball into the ocean, she would take it, run into the ocean, swim a ways out and drop it. No telling her it was too cold, she still wanted to swim!!!

Well, that’s about it. I thank you so much for breeding such a wonderful member of our family. She truly is the most amazing dog.

I attached a few picts from her birthday week….

Warmly,

Rebecca

Dear Diane

Hello Citro Family,

We wanted to email a few photos of “DIESEL” . He is doing very well. He captured our heart immediately. It took our 8 year old black lab longer and our 13 year old begel— well, he still only tolerates the pup.

He has adjusted well to our loving family. He is completely crate and house trained. He is very smart and he is truly a very good pup. He has not chewed one shoe (yet).

Just wanted to thank you again for such a wonderful puppy. He has joined our family quit well. We are looking forward to warmer weather. We know he will enjoy our property on the Ohio River.

THANKS AGAIN,

Hi Diane,

Time flies when you are having fun. Last December my wife Sarah and I purchased this little guy from you. He has been a great little boy for us. He has a lot of energy and loves to play non-stop. When we got him we wanted one that plays and you told us his parents were Chance and Betty. Well he does have a lot of Betty in him. If we are home with him, he will not sleep the entire time. He wants to play until he is worn out. He still has to stay in his “den” when we are not home, but I only live 3 miles from work, so I come home and spend lunch with him. Weekends are all about him. He spends it with us and goes with me to my mothers. She loves having him visit. Today is his birthday so I decided to send you a few pictures of him. He gets his hair cut about every six weeks and is growing a full skirt. He is a great pleasure to have in our home. Hope all is going well.

Hello Diane!

How are you doing?! I hope all is well with you and your family!

I must apologize for the delay in getting some updates and pictures to you on our little guys! These two have brought so much joy and happiness into our lives… we cannot thank you enough for giving us the chance to raise these guys!

I am still amazed at Waylon’s (he is our Chocolate) temperament. He is so calm, he listens wonderfully, and is such a loyal friend to us. We have had several people comment on how well behaved he is! Don’t get me wrong… he still causes a little ruckus with Willie and has his playful moments haha!
And Willie is such a bundle of fun too… he has the greatest facial expressions and always looks so serious! He has a ton of wrinkles on his little head and they all bunch up when he’s sleeping so you can’t see his eyes – it is so adorable! At first I was worried about him being so much smaller than Waylon when we brought him home – but boy does he give Waylon a run for his money! He isn’t afraid to stand up for himself!

They are inseparable… they do everything together from sleeping, eating, drinking, exploring, playing… even going to the bathroom side by side haha! I am so happy we decided to get both of them!

Take care and I will keep in touch with you on their lives as they grow together!

Hi Diane,

Just wanted to drop you a quick note and a couple of pictures of Daisy. She is the best! She slept through the night by night three and is about 90% house trained. We have missed a few of her clues, but we are almost there! We just wanted to thank you so much for her. She is the best puppy ever and a real joy. We start puppy training classes tomorrow, but she already recognizes come and stay! She walks on a leash and is getting better everyday with her walks. We are so pleased with her personality and disposition. We brought her home three weeks ago today and we couldn’t be happier!

Thanks again and we’ll keep in touch!

Thank you so much for the puppy you gave our boys! We have named him Gunner and he gets along perfect with Grady. Thank you for making this tragic week into a blessing. Hi Diane,

I wanted to send you a picture of our Malu and give you an update on how he is doing! I wanted you to see how big he is getting since he was the runt of the litter. We took him to the vet last Friday and he has gained 10 pounds since his first visit four weeks ago, he’s 25 pounds now. He has been a wonderful pup and can do several tricks like shake, sit and lay. We are now working on roll over. It took a while but he even walks on a leash quite well. He transitioned well into our family and has never cried at night. He’s 95% house broken! If the door is open he goes outside. At night he has the run of our family room and uses grass scented piddle pads in the powder room. He’s such a good boy and is told so often. He is very pampered and loved….OK, he’s spoiled and he know it! It’s his house and we are just visitors. 🙂 He loves everyone especially kids. If he see’s someone walking down the street, he thinks they are there to see him. We all love him so much and we plan on bringing him to our wedding (small gathering). I just have to find him a bow tie! 🙂

Hi Diane,

I’ve been so neglegent in touching bases with you since the arrival of “Cotton” into our lives. She is the most wonderful puppy imaginable, and I keep telling people that if I knew there were dogs like this out there, I would have never had children, lol!

I’m attaching a few pictures of us just goofing off…my two boys are in love with their “little sister.” Besides the fact she is quite a night owl and keeps me and my husband up all night in her crate (4 feet from our bed), things are going great…she’s eager to please and loves our long walks and trips to the beach.

feel free to use my email and/or picts~and if anyone asks for a personal reference, send them my email address and I will gladly rest their worries. I was so apprehensive about the whole online factor (as you could probably tell my my million emails, lol), and the comments on your website made me feel more comfortable 🙂

Cotton has been swimming a lot in our neighbor’s pool (she has puppy play dates with a chocolate lab down the street), and she gets evening walks with another dog too. She is sooo social (almost to a fault as she’ll do anything for belly rubs, lol). An absolute doll 🙂

Will send more pictures as she grows!
Thank you again,
Rebecca

Hi Diane

Thought I’d send a bit of Dakota’s day to you. He is just so cute. We love him so very much. He and Hershey do a lot of playing and we find it one of our favorite times of the day. Right now he is sleeping on my lap. He walks into all our rooms before me, making sure that I don’t leave his sight, and greets me when I come home from work like I have been gone forever. He just found out he can bark. And, he is a fantastic eater. He is healthy. He is friendly. We are Happpppppppy.

Take care, hope u and your family are all well…………..

Dear Diane,

I was just writing to update you on Baron the Black Labrador I purchased from you in late February 2007. I am so happy with him. I have received so many compliments on how well behaved and how beautiful his coat is. He is very intelligent and picks up on commands very quickly. Every time I take him to the park the first thing he does is jump in lake before we go play fetch in the field. He loves everyone and everything. I have never seen a dog that wanted to get bathed as much as him. He jumps into the bath tub and loves having the water hit his back. No matter what kind of day I am having he always makes it better by always waging his tail. He loves to lay by my feet whenever I am studying for exams or watching TV. Thank you again for breeding such wonderful, well tempered Labradors. I would highly recommend you to anyone interested in purchasing a dog.
Sincerely,
Michael

Diane,

We purchased one of your puppies about seven or eight months ago. We must tell you how pleased we are with Ranger. We love him dearly and look forward to his companionship daily. He is going thru obedience classes at the present time and is doing well. What we wanted to tell you was several people have told us of his beautiful and exceptional white teeth. If you bred for this quality he could not have turned out any better. My wife has been thru surgery and has been at it for three month. He has made our life worth living. Many Thanks

Diane,

I just wanted to let you know how well Madison is doing. She has brought us so much happiness and love. As you know I got her as a Christmas gift. Well, my great grandmother passed away on Christmas. Christmas morning was very sad around our house until i saw our new baby. Madison has been such a joy during our grief. She has helped keep our house happy with her playful pounce and attitude. Without her this would have been a lot harder for me. She has kept my mind at ease and away from this sad event. On a positive note, we couldn’t ask for a better puppy. She has been to the vet and checked out great. She is potty trained and does a few tricks. She loves to pester our other dog Freckles but sometimes pushes her too far. They are best friends. Maddie follows her everywhere. I really want to thank you for my puppy. Its hard to think of how I would have got thru Christmas without her. She has got so big! I hope you like the pictures I sent!

Thanks again,

Hi! Diane,

You were not home when we picked up Buddy a few weeks ago and I just wanted to let you know that everything went very well. Your sons Jake and Luke were very informative and are a couple of great guys, I could have talked to them all day. We took Buddy to get his shots last Friday and The Vet said that he was the best looking Labrador that she had ever seen. By the time we left we had 10 people gawking over him wanting to know where we got him and they were amazed at his obedience. My wife and I are truly amazed at this dogs temperament and he actually listens better than the boys most of the time. I am over joyed at Buddy and I have always wanted a lab that would follow me around and lay at my feet when I sit down. I never thought that a puppy would do that only an older dog. He catches on quickly, and I have used some of Caesar Milans techniques and they have worked great. I also have been doing what you told me with using a long clothes line when we walk and that has worked great also. He still doesn’t come every time but I think that will change in few months when he gets a little older. Now, if I could train him to poop in the neighbors yard I may have the perfect dog!

Thanks so much,
Shawn

Hello Diane,

This is Penny. Just wanted to give you an update on our two cockers that we bought from you last summer. I just wanted to make sure you knew (being such a caring breeder) that they have no problems with eyes or ears and their disposition is adorable. We get compliments on them wherever we go! They are so much fun! I wouldn’t know what to do without them. I just can’t believe that I don’t have to use any medicine for preventive reasons at all for their ears. I think that is awesome! P.S. we all sleep in the same bed :0)

Pics soon to come!

Take care!

Hi Diane

My name is Jessica. I purchased a cocker spaniel puppy from you in July and we just wanted to send you some pics to show you how he is doing! His name is Luke and he is an absolute JOY! He has the funniest personality and loves loves loves to run! We just spoil him terribly which irritates my vet! He truly has become part of our family. I have to say I was so nervous about house breaking him but I couldn’t believe how easy he was, I am not kidding when I say 2 weeks after we brought him home he was trained! He is definitly an outdoor puppy, which my kids love. I can’t thank you enough and I was so lucky to find your web site. Well, I hope you enjoy the pictures,

Dear Diane

We have been SO happy with Jack and are so glad that we made the drive to get him. He gets lots of compliments on his good looks and wonderful temperament! He has already bonded with the family and wants to be by your side every minute. He is very watchful and aware too, which makes us think he will be very protective as he gets older. We plan on signing our oldest daughter up with Jack for 4-H dog obedience class in the spring; I think it would be a beneficial thing for both of them.

Thank you again for everything.

All the best,

Dear Diane,

Just wanted to thank you for being so patient with me during the purchase of our new puppy. I know I drove you crazy with all of the questions I was just nervous buying a dog that I found on line. The puppy is all that we wanted and more. Diesel is doing well with the potty training being on 8 weeks old he is already going on the puppy pads or outside with only a few accident. My daughter loves him to pieces. He was well worth the 14 hour car ride I think his name suits him due to how much we spent in gas. I already gave a bunch of people your number who are looking for a yorkie and they are waiting until you have your next litter. Have a Merry Christmas.

It’s been a busy few months here with our new pup, Jack. For those of you that don’t know, Jack is a black Labrador pup we received from Diane in May 2005. He epitomizes what a Labrador should be!

The first visit to our local vet gave us assurance that we did indeed find a wonderful breeder. Our vet has raised labs also over the years and stated that Jack is one of the finest he has seen yet. I am glad I took the time to research the breed and search for a reputable breeder such as
yourself. Each visit to the vet has yielded even higher regard for him! On our vets advice, we signed Jack up for Obedience training, which he starts next Tuesday. He even went so far to say that Jack will be the star of the class! To say we are enamored and in love with him is putting it mildly. I’ve attached some pics we took recently at a local state park. True to
his breed, he is a fantastic swimmer and retreiver.

I encourage anyone reading this to email you and get to know you and your breeds. I know if our Lab is of such high quality then the others have to be as well. Your farm is lovely and the dogs are healthy, happy and enjoying life there. My family was so impressed, especially after
researching breeders. Diane, you were breath of fresh air.

If we choose to add to our family, I know I will contact you again. Thank you…from all of us. I will keep you updated with pics in the future. Please feel free to give my email to anyone who may wish to speak to me about Jack.

Sincerely,

Just a note to let you know how our new pup’s doing… We got one of Angel and Buster’s springer puppies at the end of July and named him Daniel (the Spaniel). He’s learning quickly and enjoying puppy kindergarten with all his new puppy friends. Daniel is very happy here and is growing up fast, we couldn’t be happier with him. He’s very playful and sweet and is rapidly changing from a cute puppy into a handsome dog. Thank you for answering all our questions and helping us prepare for our new pup! I’ve already recomended you to a couple friends and will continue to do so. I’m attatching a photo of Daniel in our garden… he really loves the flowers!

Dian,

I think I have the most precious and energetic pup that I or anybody else has ever seen. Just love her and am enjoying her so much.

Piper’s transition was excellent. She sleeps and has always slept between Brian and I on our pillows, (she was so small, we were afraid rolling over on her-so we trained her to sleep on the pillow). She will not have it any other way. She is just so smart! Has already an 85% accuracy with the p-pads. She just had her second visit with her vet, he feels she is in good shape! She has learned to ring the bells to go outside, but doesn’t always potty outside yet. She thinks its there just for her wish. She loves the outside. Well, I will keep you updated. Take care!

Hi Diane,

Just wanted to update you on how it is going with Murphy.

It has been a long first week but with much progress. The first few nights were filled with accidents and much crying. However, he is now comfortable with his night time living arrangements and rarely has an accident. He also is good during the day about waiting to be outside before he goes to the bathroom. So I would say he is well on his way to being housebroken. Meghan has also done a good job of teaching him basic commands such as sit and come that he is responding to. And as of yesterday he is recognizing his name (strangely only from females?).

We took him to the vet and she reports that he is healthy. He had no worms in his stool sample.
He is growing fast and we are having a lot of fun with him. He is a very independent and confident dog. He is not at all intimidated by larger dogs or by human beings. Everyone who sees him is impressed with his strong build and square head.

Thank you for such a great dog!

Hi Diane,

I thought you might be interested to see how our little puppy was doing- this is one of the liver and white springers- female. She has been doing so great and is growing like crazy. She is quick to catch onto things (like sit and paw…and, of course, getting into things!). She is already sleeping through the night and not having accidents in the house. She is so fun to play with! One of my favorite things about her- when I give her the sit command, she’ll sit, and then she’ll tilt her head and look at me with a look on her adorable face that says “what do you want me to do now?” Thanks for taking such good care to develop such smart, well-behaved and beautiful dogs (I’ve had people stop in their cars at the house to tell me how pretty she is!). She has been such a joy and wonderful addition to the family!

Hello Diane,

She has all her shots and loves EVERYBODY! She is learning “NO” and is very happy. My daughter (who is 18) thanks me for buying her quite often. Thanks again for my beautiful little girl.

Hi Diane!

I just had to write to you. Jack went for his next set of shots today and the vet just goes on and on about him! “He’s a splendid Lab”! And he is Diane. He is absolutely gorgeous. A big doofus…but gorgeous. He weighs 23 pounds now and eats like a horse. The best part of it is how happy Shelby, our other lab, is now. All they do is play. He follows her everywhere. Most of the time when I call them he has a hold of her tail. Like elephants parading around.

After his next set of boosters, we’re going for obedience training. We have a wonderful local group that is mostly run by volunteers. Which means they are there because they want to be, you know? Our vet truly thinks the sun sets and rises on him!

We just wanted you to know what a wonderful breeder you are! I’m so glad I took the time searching for you!

Hope all is well with your family and thank you again…SO MUCH*.

Hello. My name is Samantha . My husband Will and I bought a black male cocker spaniel from you a year and two months ago. We could not be more pleased with Brinkley’s attitude and deminure. He is sweet, and playful. He is waiting for us when we get home with so much love and excitement it still makes my heart leap. His favorite companion in the world is his older sister sissy, my four year old cocker spaniel. They get along great, and love each other very much. Brinkley has graduated preschool and outshines all of the other dogs in his age group. At our house he rings the doorbell if he wants outside, he opens all the doors himself, and he even turns the lights on and off! He learns to quick! He is a pleasure to have and we take pride in all of his happiness! Thank you so much for your good breeding and the joy you have given us! Incase you don’t remember, we were the ones that came from Saint Louis, a nine hour drive each way, and it was well worth it. I recommend your breeding to all of my friends in search of a good dog. Thanks again so much for Brinkley. He is a very loved, and happy dog, and we look forward to many more years with him and Sissy.

You can post this on your website. I have been Looking at your website for the last 3 hours!! It has great information in it. I just wrote a whole list of great snacks and treats for Sissy and Brinkley that will help prevent cancers and clean out the toxins in their joints and bones! Great stuff. Keep up the great work. It really promotes good business, and also leaves the site visitors with a comforting feeling that you have alot of knowledge about dogs and their health.

Samantha, Saint Louis Mo.

Hello there!
I am a pet trainer at the Petsmart. I recently enrolled a Chocolate lab named, Chester, who is from your farm. I have to say, from all the labs I have had in ALL my classes (from puppies to adults) he is by far the best I have ever seen. Due to his wonderful personality, friends of mine are getting married tomorrow and are going to be looking for a lab puppy. I highly recommended you and told them do not go anyplace else….I like what I see in your pets. I know I shouldn’t base it off one pup, but Brenda ( Chester’s owner) cannot speak enough good about you.

I’m looking to make an agility/obedience/therapy dog/housepet from the dog later in life. What guarentees do your provide, what is your contract like etc etc..

Please use it on your site. I am so happy to finally see a breeder who cares about the quality of their stock as opposed to the quantity. As a trainer, I see a lot of bad breeding…

Thank you very much!

PS: Thank you very much for being a responsible
breeder!!

Diane,
I wanted to thank you so much for Lady, the 7 year old rescue ESS we got from you. She is wonderful! My Mother, who lives with us, has company all the time, even at night! She adores her and vice versa! Lady is very well-behaved and gentle. We have finally gotten her together with our ESS, who was not initially sure he liked the idea! They look so cute together as he is about twice as big as her and is the opposite in color–more white than liver. I will try to attach a picture of Lady in my Mother’s lap.

She has earned a place in our hearts and she certainly has a good life with us–a person to share a bed with; food, water, & treats; a friend to play with; a big fenced yard to explore; even an in-house baby-sitter when we go out of town! In exchange we have the sweetest dog ever!

Thank you again,
–Suzy

Diane,

I can’t thank you enough for the wonderful chocolate lab female whose name now is Lillie. I’m in puppy kindergarten class and is she getting talked about how beautiful she looks. She plays with Bean the cat, Atticus and Smoky, our two pugs. Her beauty, intelligence, good temperament make her an exceptional addition to our family. Thanks again for raising a champion!
SINCERELY…..

We visited your farm at the end of October and took home a blond female
cocker (of course we were just coming to LOOK!) Our boys (age 9 & 11) fell in love with her the minute we got her home. They decided to name her “Summer” since she was born in August. We figured out later she was born on the day we moved into our new home and made us feel that she was destined to come home with us!! She is very sweet, playful, ornery and a great companion for our son after school. We really love her nice temperament and she is wonderful with children!! I just wanted to send you a brief note to let you know what a wonderful addition she has been to our family and that she is doing great in her new home 🙂 Thanks again!

Hi Diane,

Hey, remember us, we were there on New Year’s Day to pick up the little black and white Cocker boy? Escher is doing great, such a sweet and mild tempered little guy with the heart of a giant. It sure didn’t take long for him to work his way into our hearts and become a spoiled member of the family. He gets along so well with our three year old Smooth Fox Terrier who he romps and plays with all day and our 12 year old Cocker who Escher took too right away to snuggle with. Being with other people and dogs at your kennel has made him so adaptable to family life and he’s my little buddy, always at my side. Even as I type this, Escher is sleeping on my lap. His coat is exceptionally gorgeous, full and thick with just the right amount of curl. Two weeks ago he got his first grooming and I don’t know how it’s possible but he’s even more adorable than before. I wish I had 10 more just like him. Thanks for your hospitality on that special day that Escher came into our lives.

Good Morning Diane.

I wanted to tell you about this little guy. He is small, a little less than 4lbs. He is the most loving, friendly companion you could ever meet. He is always with me, except a couple of places I am not able to take him. I take him and our other yorkie who is 8 years old to the beach twice a week. Dillon loves it, he loves water. He will sit in front of the bathtub and bark because he wants a bath. He loves kids. Which is nice, we do not have any kids at home but there are a lot in the neighborhood and he loves playing hide and seek with them. He is very smart. When I am cooking, he keeps checking on the stove and if too much steam is coming up, he barks for us to check it. We also have a 10lb cat who is around 18 years old. They love each other. I have enclosed a picture of him so you could see how good he looks. Sorry to ramble, I just wanted you to know how much I love this little guy and what a wonderful companion he is to me.

Hi Diane,

What a love and a joy our Scio is! Our trainer prompted me to write to you and tell you what a superdog he is! He is Mr. Wonderful and a constant joy to our family. He is smart, fun, has a terrific personality, is quiet and cuddly, and is fetching the newspaper! I would like to mention how beautiful his coat is, he has the longest eyelashes you ever did see. He is so smart! I’ll tell him something once or twice, and he’ll look at me and say w/ his eyes, “OK, I got it!” We have many students come to the house for lessons, and he runs to greet them all w/ a waggle, but never a bark. He is so quiet! We took him to New Hampshire w/ us this summer and he was a terrific hiking and swimming companion…he actually helped my little one up the mountain! All My Best,

Mary , Cleveland Hts., OH

Diane,

I just wanted to send you a quick note and let you know how much I absolutely love my puppy Daizy. She’s a buff cocker that I got from your farm in late May. She is an absolute delight and I get complimented on how beautiful she is and how well behaved she is for a cocker. We took her camping one weekend and nearly everyone stopped as they drove by to give her a pat. The vet even noticed how well bred she was. She’s everything that I wanted in a dog and I thank you for your care in breeding your puppies. I love her to death! Thank You sooo much!

Diane,

Murphy, our buff cocker spaniel, joined our family from your farm last summer, and, if anything, we’re happier with him than when we last wrote to you. As you know, we were so pleased that we decided to get another dog and contacted you this past spring. The result was that we were joined by Ozzie, a black cocker spaniel puppy. During the process of obtaining Ozzie, we were again impressed by your combination of professionalism and personal attention. You were patient with our inquires and answered them clearly and promptly. When I came to see Ozzie, you didn’t pressure me while sharing everything that you had learned about his personality. Once I decided to take him, you reviewed all of the care and registration information which was a handy refresher. Ozzie has been an extremely social, out-going, fun loving, energetic puppy so far. He plays with Murphy and competes with him for our attention. He enjoys being with someone at all times and truly enjoys himself. He’s been enthusiastic and friendly in all of his social situations. This includes friends and neighbors, grooming, vet care and day care. We’d like to challenge the conventional wisdom that in selecting a puppy one should always choose an active pup that comes right to you immediately. Ozzie was quiet and shy when I came to see him, and as I’ve already said he’s now an energetic and sociable pet. I feel that good breading is a far better indicator of a good dog than a short visit with it. I’d hate to see great dogs like Ozzie miss out on a good home or dog lovers miss out on a wonderful pet like him based on a quick superficial judgement. Thanks again for two great pets. We’ve attached a recent photo.

Riley’s doing just great! She’s an absolute sweetie! She’s the center of attention wherever we go. Her vet exams have been really great. We had a woman from nearby, Sue, come to do some training/teaching. She owns several dogs, some of which have been obedience champions. Riley loves her to pieces. Sue was amazed when she sat. She marveled at her posture, saying she has a perfect show sit! And she does! Even when she trots down the sidewalk, she has the most beautiful stance. She’s A-1 all the way! Friends used to stop by to see us… now they stop to see Riley. She ambles right out of her crate and cuddles right into my lap! She’s so sweet and so loving! She’s one great little Lab. We’re very happy!

Hi Diane,

Just wanted to let you know how well our wonderful new yellow Labrador has adapted to her new home. She received a clean bill of health from our veterinarian on her visit last week. I can’t emphasis enough how smart, playful, and cute she is, and what a personality. You were right when you stated this dog would be the type of dog that would go out and play, then come in and settle down, not to mention a dog you can take anywhere. We have spent a lot of time at various parks in the area and she seems to be the center of attention, bringing numerous comments on how well her behavior is. When we get a few of the photos developed I will send them to you. Once again, thanks so much for all your help and such a great companion. Best Regards,

Hi Diane!

We’ve been meaning to e-mail you…this past year with Bailey has just flown by! Bailey celebrated her first birthday on July 15. We wanted to tell you how much we love our little yellow lab, we couldn’t imagine our lives without her! She is a perfect little lady (her nickname is “Miss B”), very well trained and everyone adores her sweet and affectionate personality. Hello my name is Melissa. My family and I purchased a black lab from you in December of 2003. We love him so much we have decided to get another one. I am just wondering what colors you have available for August and when you next litter may be available?

Thank You,

Melissa

In May, you might remember that I bought one of your last cockers from the litter; a buff female who I named Lady. I was just writing to let you know that I have never had such a perfect dog! She is wonderful in every way: great temperament, beautiful coat, good health, lively and fun. Because of her wonderful attitude, Lady gets to come with me everywhere I go, even to work at Iams. I enjoy her everyday! I could want nothing more from a pet, she is an excellent companion! You delivered exactly what you said you would and I’d be glad to recommend you to anyone I know looking for a dog. You can definitely use my email on your testimonials page, Lady is a great dog and I would be happy to let everyone know it! Thanks!

Also, I am wondering about the price on your petite litter of Yorkies. My sister might be interested in one. Thanks.

Sincerely,
Brandi

Hi Diane,

Well it has been two weeks since we picked up Elvis and I must say that he is even better than I thought he would be. He has fit right in with everyone and is the most behaved and friendly puppy I’ve ever known. Yesterday was his first visit to the Vet and the Doc says Elvis is as healthy as a puppy can be. He is getting much better at coming when you call his name and he’s even starting to learn to go by the front door when he has to go out. All in all he is absolutely wonderful. Nancy and I would really like to thank you for bringing him into our lives. I will make sure to write you again in the future from time to time to update you on Elvis and just to keep in touch. I tried to attach 2 pictures so I hope you received them. If not let me know and I’ll try again. Talk to you later,

Hi Diane,

I’ve been meaning to write you for weeks! I must tell you that “Scio” , our little black cocker is a total love bug. He has been the best pet – he has just amazed us w/ how smart he is! Today he marched in Parade the Circle- and was a very big hit, you may even see him on the news! I ran in to a woman from my daughters school who also just got a buff colored cocker from you. Glad that worked out. Would you recommend any places to camp w/ puppy on Tappan Lake? I know that they won’t let him in the water in a state park, but I thought you might know of a good jumping in place. Let me know, as we’re hoping to come down before the end of the month. Sorry it’s taken me so long to follow up w/ you, he is a total joy, and a perfect fit into our family. I’ll try to scan you a picture for your website 🙂 Thanks Again,

Hi Diane!

I can’t tell you how much we are enjoying our puppy! We named her Guinness. She is everything you promised and more…She is beautiful, smart, in excellent health, and a joy to be around! She loves swimming in our pool and floating on a raft with me. She is so smart and she is growing like a weed! She is such a cheerful puppy and such a delight for us. She has brought such joy to my parents who are nearing their 80s. I have to bring Guiness to see them every weekend and they get so much pleasure from her. Hope all is well with you and your family. Thanks again!

Dear Diane,

My husband and I are just thrilled with the new additions to our family! Annabelle & Bentley have brought such joy to our lives – I can’t even begin to explain how happy we are! It was such a pleasure meeting you, and getting to visit your farm. I wanted to share a few photos of the puppies with you, so be sure to check out the attachments. Although outweighed by her bigger brother, Annabelle is quite the dominant little lady. And, Bentley has such a gentle nature, and keeps growing, growing, growing… Bentley is a pretty quick learner, and Annabelle is a little ball of energy. Both puppies got a clean bill of health at the vet’s office, and were quite a hit with the doctors and nurses. I think Annabelle & Bentley met just about the entire staff that afternoon, all because of their adorable, good looks and wonderful demeanor. Though a little sleep-deprived, my husband and I couldn’t be happier! Thank you for sharing this wonderful experience with us! Feel free to use my comments on your website! It was an absolute pleasure working with you! We will keep in touch!

Sincerely, Karen and Timothy Cleveland, OH

I just wanted to e-mail you to let you know how great Indy is. In the short time Ann and I have had him (five months), he has become a huge part of our family. He’s a smart, energetic, loving pup who brings a smile to my face each time I see him when I arrive at home (thankfully he seems just as happy to see me!). I am very, very pleased with him and have received numerous compliments on him (ranging from how intelligent/obedient he is to how good looking of a dog he is). I’m glad you were willing to give me the lone chocolate male from the July litter!! I would highly recommend you as a breeder and, if my comments help someone make that decision, that’s great. Anyone would be lucky to have a dog like Indy!! Thanks again,

My family and I received a Black Lab from your farm last winter. You recommended which dog for us to take according to his/her disposition and our specifications. I just wanted to let you know that he is perfect for us, and has grown into a giant, affectionate, and healthy dog. Guppy is docile yet playful, and gets along great with our German Shorthair. He never gets into trouble and he always makes us laugh. Also, he has a perfect build and a thick “otter” tail that Lab’s should have. We love him! Thank you so much…he is a member of our family.

Dear Diane:

My name is Kelley . If you remember, I picked up the second to last Springer Spaniel pup of your last litter (I am in college and I came with two other girls). I just wanted you to know how wonderful he is. His name is Cooper. He is already fully housetrained, he is just as warm with people as he was when he left you, and he is so attached to me. He walks on a leash perfectly, and everyone loves him. Thank you for being so good to your dogs, because he has brought so much to my life already. He is absolutely perfect. I have told many people about you and one of my friends, Jeni , has already called you and is so excited to get a cocker. Thank you again for putting so much effort into your work.

Sage had her first appointment with the vet Sept.13, the vet said she is very healthy, and the cutest puppy he has ever seen! We gave three copies of your business card out. She is doing very good, she is extremely smart. We can’t say enough about how happy we are with her! So once again thank you very much!

I like our puppy very much. He is better than I expected. He is much more beautiful in color than I expected. The few people who have seen him immediately fall in love with him. Even at the airport they were saying he was the puppy they were going to ” steal”, he was so beautiful. I like his personality very much. He has that “puppy energy” but is not bouncing off the walls. He seems very even and nice temperament. He loves the kids, he has adjusted to all of us, he is very well socialized and he seems to learn things easy. I think he is really a well bred dog for a great pet and family member. He is just what I spent months looking for. What I think makes your puppies stand out so much from others as a family pet is there great personalities and they have the face to match. Defintely, Cisco has such a sweet face and his personality matches which makes for an excellent pet for a family. I have looked at a lot of labs faces on the internet and around town here. He definitely has a beautiful face that stands out. That sweet expression is also in the parents. I would say we are quite pleased with him. Do you think you will still be raising labs say in about another 15 years?? Maybe your kids will take on doing it . Kind of like the ‘Lassie” family of dogs. It can be a family generationional thing. I think you have a good breed of lab here.

Everyone he meets falls in love with him for his cuteness and affectionate disposition. Once again I’d like to compliment you guys on how you handle the whole process of placing your puppies. First, you were very forthcoming during our initial contact. You managed to convey all the necessary information about the puppies and your operation very clearly and professionally, while making me feel that I was talking to an old friend. You were very patient in handling all of my inquiries while we were waiting for our puppy and in setting up an appointment for us to select him. Your attention to detail was especially evident in the excellent driving directions that you provided. Once we got to your farm you allowed us to take all the time we wanted to select our puppy, without trying to rush us. You provided insightful comments about the dogs an the selection process without trying to influence us. We enjoyed seeing your other dogs and litters of puppies while we were there. This gave us a chance to appreciate the facilities that you have and the level of care that you provide to all of the dogs. Once we selected our puppy, you opened your home to us and took as much time as necessary to discuss his needs and explain the chip implant that he’d had. Feel free to use any comments from this or any other correspondence on your testimonial page. As you can see from the attached photo, Murphy has made himself right at home and is very comfortable with us in his new home!!!!

I thought I would write a short note to letyou know how much we are enjoying Murphie. She is just great, we couldn’t have asked for a better puppy. It’s been a very long tome since either of us has had a pet, but we already can’t imagine not having her. She is so much company for me when my husband is out of town, and I so look forward to coming home form work everyday now. We are working on housebreaking and it seems to be going pretty well. I was so impressed when I saw your set up for your kennel, and I felt very much at ease about adopting one of your puppies. I really feel that I chose the best person (for me) to get my puppy from. So if and when we’re ready for another puppy you will be hearing from us. I have already passed your name on to our neighbors, they were so impressed with Murphie, and wanted to know where we got her. Thanks again ever so much,

Hi Diane! I just wanted to let you know that Zoe is doing great! She loves the kids and she has my husband wrapped around her little finger! Her first night here I was going to put her in her cage to sleep she let out one little bark and wimper and Sam said she could sleep in our bed! She is doing really well, the first night she got up twice and started playing with her teddy bear so I took her outside to go potty each time. She has only had one accident on the floor when we first brought her home. She went to bed with the boys lastnight then I took her out and put her in my bed she only woke up once wimpering and I took her outside she went potty and slept the rest of the night. She is already starting to look at me and wimper when she needs to go out. I can’t believe how smart she is! She even will come to you when you call her name. Any other dog I’ve had has atleast taken a few days to know their name. She will even wimper when I tell her no because she knows she is doing something bad. She loves shoes!!! My husband has fallen in love with her and can’t believe how good she has done. We are used to getting dogs from the pound and having a terrible time training them to do anything so this has been wonderful for us! Any other dog I’ve had I was constantly cleaning up after them. I just can’t believe how well she is doing. I know we still have a long round ahead of us with her training but with as well as she has done just in the past two days I really don’t think she will be any kind of a challenge to train to do anything! She seems so smart! Thanks again for Zoe she is wonderful! (I also wanted to let you know that after I brought Zoe home I received a call from someone to come view my home They are going to buy it so Zoe will be living in the country with 11 acres to run! All around Thursday was a great day!)

Diane,

Thank you so much for bringing “Peaches” into our lives! Your kennels display such love and caring. When I met all the dams and sires, I knew that Peaches would be perfect, physically and such a gentle nature! How you and your family “humanize” and love the puppies in your home before they find their new home is very comforting. The entire kennel experience with both of you has been heartwarming and reassuring. Thank you so much for the complete “sendoff”, complete with puppy chow and Godsends!!

God bless you and your family and continued passing on such love!

Hi Diane,

Dusty is the name of my dog and he is my pride and joy. He is playful, yet mild mannered. He is a big baby. I was so surproised when he was house trained in less than 10 days. He is so smart. It’s like he understands everything you say to him. I’m very happy with him.

When he was younger, during the summer time, I would take him to my mother’s house to stay when I was at work. My mom just recently went to Florida for the winter and she says she misses him so much, “He’s so entertaining”. I highly recommend Labs, they are wonderful pets. They make wonderful house pets also. They are great companions.

When I am ready for another dog you will be hearing from me! Thanks again!

Diane,

I am happy and pleased to recommend you as a breeder! You spent lots of time answering my many questions, and had a wonderful match for me in Oliver. Oliver has been the sweetest addition to our family. We could not be more pleased with his personality, affection and beauty. Your family ahs done a wonderful job spoiling and humanizing him before he came to me. He loves being around people and is a true joy. He is happiest on my lap or at my feet, at all times, he can’t get close enough! I love sending you updated pictures to show him off, and look forward to getting another one from you someday soon!

Dear Diane,

As we told you when we met you, we spent over a year looking for our new puppy. The experience with you and your kennel was a genuine pleasure. Our initial phone conversation was very friendly and informative, quite different from some of the calls to other breeders that we have experienced. When we arrived at your home, your entire place was very impressive. Your kennel was very clean and well organized. My husband said that it was cleaner than some vet offices that he has been to. When we took our puppy to our vet for his checkup and we told him of our experience with you, he was very impressed. He also commented on the great condition of the puppy and requested some of your business cards so he could recommend you as a breeder. Living north of Chicago, we had over twelve hours drive to get our dog, but we would do it again tomorrow! It was worth the drive. Your are to be commended.

I looked all over the internet for good breeders….and was fortunate to find your ad in the newspaper. After seeing your website and meeting with you. I highly recommend you as a reputable breeder. Also, the vet here in Vermilion went to school with the vet you use and was amused to see his name on Freddies’ papers. He said you were using one of the best

He’s doing surprisingly well on his paper training. I have him used to a harness and he is a very smart little boy! Will run after his ball and return it to you for more. Seems to be his own little person. While we’ve only had Freddie a couple of weeks, it seems like he’s been with us forever. Everyday he comes up with something different. Last night, he jumped in the shower with my husband. What a site!!! He ran in and out and had himself quite a time. Not to mention the time I had laughing at him ! Talk to you soon.

Dealing with Acmepctco.com was a pleasurable event. The owners of the kennel were very friendly. Secondly, the puppy we purchased was beautiful and healthy. We were pleased with the way the owners gave us thorough information about the care of our dog and his personality. They were adamant about good health and the good care of our dog. They made the choice of bringing a dog into our home a pleasurable event. We felt comfortable purchasing the puppy from the Acmepetco.com. We will definitely recommend the kennel to our friends and family or anyone. As a matter of fact we will be purchasing another dog from Diane because we were so pleased with the whole experience !

Diane,

Freddie is now 2 years old and doing great here in Tennessee ( by the way, as you already know, we kept the name your son called him). That REALLY suits him at times. It’s amazing how smart he is. Sometimes I expect him to actually talk ( or talk back ) He loves to argue with us. Sometimes I wish I had a houseful of Yorkies, We acquired a dachshund from my daughter, and Freddie thinks we got him his very own dog! They’re hilarious together. His vet says he has a remarkable personality and calls him “fearless fred “.He loves everyone he meets and is afraid of nothing. His vet asked for your name and email address. He has a Yorkie and said Freddie was of very good stock and said how hard it was to find or recommend a reputable breeder. He is our baby and we thank you so much for him.

Thank you again for being the breeder that you are. It’s obvious you and your family care so much for your babies and that shows in the puppies they produce.

Last July we purchased Abby, our beautiful Black Lab from Diane. She is our seventh dog and we find her to be extremely intelligent, cuddly, warm, and funny. She is independent, yet loves to constantly be with you. She was well socialized with both children and adults as well as other dogs. All of this made her transition as baby sister to our 10 year old male German Shepherd very easy.

She is such a healthy and happy dog and makes us as happy as she is. Like her ‘Dad’, she is a prolific nap taker and snores as loud as he does. But, when she awakes…..watch out!! She constantly wants to play and succeeds in making you feel that you must play with her. Abby has quickly become the light of our life.

Working with Diane has been an extremely enjoyable experience in that the follow-up and her sincerity were always felt during our contacts with her. We look forward to some day going through the process again with her.

Diane,

I just finished giving “Molly”, our beautiful black Cocker Spaniel, a bath. Looking at how cute she is and realizing how nicely tempered she is ( she takes her bath like she is part fish ), I realized that I should write and thank you for putting her into our lives.
Seeing your record keeping and the way that you “humanize” your puppies just confirms our belief that you care about your dogs and not just simply making a sale. Your kennel set up is very impressive. The time spent considering the care that you give the dogs is evident by what we see in “Molly”. She is part of our family that brings smiles to our two young boys (as well as our 80lb. Rot/Lab mix ).
If I had known that there were such dogs available – I would have bought one from you twenty years ago !!

Thank you and we look forward to passing your name to our friends !
Sincerely, Sharon, Mason, Joe, and Clark.

I cannot thank you enough for the joy my family and I have received from our new family member “Maximus”. As you know, I search far and wide for the right breeder, and after our extensive conversations, I determined that you and your company were the right match for what I was looking for in a family pet. The long drive from Washington, DC was certainly worth the trip. Max is healthy, smart, loving and absolutely the best family friend we could have ever hope for. With so many “puppy mills” and retail pet stores, it is hard to know exactly what you are getting in a pet. Without a doubt, I know I made the right decision in working with you. I wish you all the best of success and health for the new year.

We bought a dog from you in March of 2001. Hunter is now 2 years old and is an excellent pet. He is very intelligent and is great with our three children. Hunter is liver and white and is a beautiful looking dog. Our experience with you in purchasing the puppy was outstanding. Your hospitality and the manner in which you dealt with us, was very professional, yet polite and friendly.

We have been really enjoying Jake he is so sweet and adorable. Our family researched dogs for months trying to find the perfect match for us. We finally decided on a Yorkie. Next, I had to find a breeder that I felt comfortable enough with, to buy our new family member from. I found you on the Internet and after one conversation with you I knew I wanted to get our puppy from you. You were so kind and answered all my questions and I knew that you truly loved the animals. After, meeting you and seeing how the animals are taken care of I will recommend you to everyone I know. We have our little Jake now and we are all in love with him. He is so sweet and beautiful. Thank you for our new baby.

I found Diane on the web and called about the lab puppies right away. The next day, we went out and were impressed with the neatness of the kennel, the personalities of the dogs and the knowledge Diane had of the dogs. It was very obvious that she loves the dogs and that they come from a caring environment. The puppy we chose immediately warmed up to our three children and vice versa.
