Flight Information

We are able to send puppies by air to almost anywhere in the continental United States. Your puppy travels in a regular kennel, a sky kennel, which you keep afterward. This can be used to help housebreak your puppy when it arrives home. We put shredded paper in the kennel, so your puppy stays as clean and dry as possible during its flight. We feed and water the puppy about an hour before it leaves on its flight. We do not put food or water in the kennels.

Your puppy will stay in its kennel the entire flight, unless the plane is delayed. If this should happen, the airlines will let them out to exercise, give them fresh food & water, and put new, clean bedding in their kennels. Your puppy is in air-conditioned or heated conditions, not only while at the airport, but during the flight and any layovers, as well. We only recommend air transportation when driving is totally out of the question. It is preferrable for you to come and pick your puppy up in person. We have people drive here from Washington, D.C., Baltimore, outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and from Chicago and Michigan. Six hour drives one way are not unusual.

If you choose to have us transport your puppy by air, you can call us and we will research the flights and let you know all of the costs involved in getting your puppy to you.

We know the personalities of our puppies very well by the time they are ready for their new owners. Therefore, before shipping a puppy to you, we will talk with you extensively on the telephone to determine which of our pups will be the best match for you. This helps insure a lifetime of happiness for you and the new member of your family. Your new Puppy is a close as your nearest airport
